Judith A. Frey, 73, of Hanover, PA, entered into God's Eternal care, Monday, December 7, 2015 at her residence, surrounded by her family.
Born February 26, 1942 in Wilmington, DE, she was the daughter of the late Paul W. Hankle and Edith B. (Bollinger) Hankle. She was the loving wife of James A. Frey with whom she shared 53 years of marriage.
Judith was a 1960 graduate with honors of William Penn Senior High School.
Mrs. Frey was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Hanover. She was also a member of the Hanover Hospital Auxiliary, having served for 25 years.
She was employed as a secretary for the former Stock and Leader law office until she married in 1962. She later worked in the office of the family business, A.D. Frey, Inc. Trucking Company for several years.
In addition to her husband James, Judith is survived by her daughter, Lisa B. Frey of New Cumberland, PA, her son, Kenneth J. Frey of Jarrettsville, MD, her grandchildren, Savannah and Keaton and her brother, Paul C. Hankle of Pasadena, MD.
A memorial service will be held at 2 PM, Friday, December 11, 2015 at the Kenworthy Funeral Home, Inc., 269 Frederick Street, Hanover, PA with Rev. Kathryn A. Schroeder officiating. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Hanover, PA. A visitation will be held from 12-2 PM, Friday at the funeral home.
