Martha M. Reiblich

Martha M. Reiblich, 91, of Hanover, passed peacefully and went to be with her Lord, Saturday, July 2, 2011 at the Brethren Home Community. She was the loving wife of Harry W. Reiblich, Sr., for 69 years. Born May 31, 1920 in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late James Albert and Sadie Rosella (Hare) Murray.
Martha was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother and cherished the time she spent with her family. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, Hanover. Martha also enjoyed gardening and playing cards and really loved animals.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by four children; Nancy L. Furbay, Barbara W. Hale, Connie Stiff and Harry W. Reiblich, Jr., all of Hanover; ten grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers, G. Albert Murray and infant brother James “Busey” Murray.
A service to celebrate the life of Martha Reiblich will be held on Wednesday at 1:30pm from the Wetzel Funeral Home and Crematory, 549 Carlisle St., Hanover with Rev. Richard D. Smith officiating. A time to share memories with the family and an opportunity to view will be from 3:00 to 5:00pm and 7:00 to 9:00pm Tuesday evening. Another viewing will be held from 12:30pm to 1:30pm prior to the service Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Hanover. Pallbearers will be her grandsons; Ronald G.Furbay, Jr., James D. Stiff, Jr., Michael W. Reiblich and Matthew W. Reiblich.
