Cheryl Sue “Buddy” Noack, 58 of Hanover went to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 23, 2015 at Hanover Hospital. Born March 11, 1957 she was the daughter of Donald E. Noack of Hanover and the late Rose E. (Donaldson) Noack.
Cheryl was employed with the U.S. Government for 37 years at the David Taylor Model Basin in Carderock, MD. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Hanover. Cheryl enjoyed cross-stitching and doing crafts. She liked reading, listening to music and was electronically savvy. Cheryl was particularly gifted at decorating and enjoyed helping others decorate their homes. Most of all, “Buddy” loved spending time with her extended family.
In addition to her father Don, Cheryl is survived by three sisters, Linda N. Worthington and her husband Christopher of Fredericksburg, VA, Nancy N. Beth and her husband Jeffrey of Olney, MD and Sandra N. Monto and her husband Philip of Littlestown, PA; and a number of nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
A memorial service to celebrate the life of Cheryl “Buddy” Noack will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, August 29 at First United Methodist Church, 200 Middle St. Campus, Hanover, PA with Pastor Greg Rapp officiating. The family will receive friends from 10am until the time of service Saturday at the church. A gathering with light refreshment will be held immediately following the service.
Final committal will be private in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Hanover.
