Obituary
Born on October 9, 1955, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Lorraine Serwatka Derck. She had been employed with the Headstart in Adams County and in the cafeterias of both South Western Middle and High Schools. She was a member of Calvary Assembly of God in Hanover and loved to vacation in Cape May and Deep Creek Lake.
Survivors include her twin daughters, Athena and Daphne Koufomihalis, both of Hanover; a brother, Joseph Derck of Allentown and dear friends, Joe and Cristianne Freiert of Hanover and many other dear friends.
A memorial service will be held at 7 pm on Thursday, October 15, 2009 at Panebaker Funeral Home, 311 Broadway in Hanover with The Rev. Mark Knight officiating. Burial will be held privately in Mount Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 to 6:45 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.
