Donald E. “Don” Noack, 90, of Littlestown and formerly of Hanover, passed peacefully on Monday, Nov. 16, 2020 at home. He was the loving husband, for 57 years, of Rose E. (Donaldson) Noack who passed away Feb. 11, 2008.
Born Jan. 14, 1930 in Washington, D.C., he was the son of the late Elgin M. and Esther L. (Souder) Noack.
Don served his country proudly in the U.S. Navy. He was a member of IBEW Local 26 and was employed as a project manager of electrical construction for many years. He was a member of First United Methodist Church, Hanover and later with New Hope Faith Community Church, McSherrystown, PA. Don enjoyed sailing, fishing, golfing, gardening and cooking and baking. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather and always had a smile on his face. He was a man of great faith and lived his whole life according to the gospel.
Don is survived by his three daughters; Linda N. Worthington and her husband Christopher of Fredericksburg, VA, Nancy N. Beth and her husband Jeffrey of Olney, MD and Sandra N. Monto and her husband Philip of Littlestown, PA; eight grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Cheryl Noack.
Services for Don Noack will be private at the convenience of the family. Final resting place will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Hanover, PA.
