Irene Grace (Kiser) Little, 83, of Hanover, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 5, 2022 at Homewood at Plum Creek. She was the loving wife of the late William J. Little who just passed away on January 13, 2022. Together they shared 66 years of marriage.
Born August 25, 1938 in Emmitsburg, MD, she was a daughter of the late Ray Kiser and Grace P. (Angell) Bair.
Irene was a loving wife and mother. She worked at Hanover Direct for 30 years as a supervisor and in her free time she enjoyed spending time with her family and her cats.
Mrs. Little is survived by her son, Jay W. Little and his wife Sally of Hanover; a brother-in-law, Phil Little and his wife Sue of New Oxford, and many other loving nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members.
In addition to her parents and husband, Irene was preceded in death by a son, Douglas J. Little and several siblings.
A service to celebrate the life of Irene will be held at 12 p.m. on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at the Wetzel Funeral Home & Crematory, 549 Carlisle St., Hanover, with Chaplain Jack Biondo officiating. A time to share memories and an opportunity to view will be on Saturday from 11 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Hanover. Pallbearers will be; Jay Little, Phil Little, Jeff Little, Stacey Moore, Karl Brillhart and Corey Sterner.
