Mary V. Myers, 79, formerly of Hanover, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 28, 2018 at Colonial Manor, York. She was the loving companion of Clyde J. Kaltreider who died June 1, 2017.
Born June 7, 1939 in Westminster, MD, she was the sixth child born to the late Ralph Kane, Sr. and Erma Amanda (Barnes) Morelock.
After retiring from Snyder’s of Hanover in 2003 after 32 years, she worked at Hardees in McSherrystown until 2012. Mary enjoyed spending time with her companion Clyde, visiting local carnivals and state fairs, attending country music concerts and high school sporting events and traveling. She was a member of the Women of the Moose, Chapter 897, Westminster and the Hanover Eagles #1406 Ladies Auxiliary.
She is survived by her children, Denise Wilson and husband Perry, Laurel, MD; Debra Morral and friend Richard, Elizabeth City, NC; Douglas Steinberg and wife Karen, Taneytown, MD; Daniel Steinberg and wife Phyllis, Westminster, MD; David Steinberg and wife Kelly, Walkersville, MD and Dwayne Steinberg, Union Bridge, MD; seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren and sisters, Alice Garey and Margaret “Mickey” Fox, both of Westminster, MD.
She was preceded in death by brothers, Ralph Morelock, Jr. and Norman Morelock and sister, Kathryn Korman.
