Dorothy M. Grubb, 58, entered into God's eternal care Tuesday, April 24, 2007 at her residence. She was the wife of Edgar H. "Bud" Grubb, to whom she was married for 14 years. She was born June 5, 1948, in Carroll County, Md., the daughter of the late Charles and Beatrice (Sutphin) Reed. Dorothy was currently employed by Delia's Distribution of Hanover for approximately 8 years. Prior to this, she worked for the former Oxford Innovations for over 20 years. In addition to her husband Bud, Dorothy is survived by one daughter, Michelle L. Maxey of New Oxford; one son, Robert T. Behl, Jr. of Hanover; one stepdaughter, Angela D. Baiata of Glen Rock; one stepson, Chad G. Grubb of Colora, Md.; five grandchildren; and two sisters, Linda S. Feeser and Ruth A. Sullivan, both of Hanover. She was preceded in death by four brothers, Granville L. Reed, Charles E. Reed, Harold S. Reed and Richard W. Reed. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Kenworthy Funeral Home, Inc., 269 Frederick Street, Hanover, with the Rev. Scott A. Sager officiating. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Hanover. A viewing and time to share memories will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. The family suggests that memorial contributions may be made in Dorothy's name to the American Cancer Society, 924 N. Colonial Ave., York, PA 17403.
