RAY'S OBITUARY
Ray M. Slothour, 76, of Hanover, passed away Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at home surrounded by his family. He was the loving husband of Darlene (Meckley) Slothour, Hanover.
Born March 8, 1946 in Hanover, he was the son of the late Edgar and Helen (Myers) Slothour.
Ray was a truck driver and drove for Smalls Trucking, Scrivner Trucking and Fleming Trucking, all of York. He retired from AWI, Robesonia in 2008.
In addition to his wife, Ray is survived by his children, Robert Harget, Robin Gorman, Brenda Carbaugh, Larry Harget, Terry Harget, Jamie Harget, Kenny Harget and Kevin Harget; sister, Alverta Fogle; brothers, Raymond Slothour, Glenn Slothour, George Slothour and Wilbur Slothour; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his son Ray M. Slothour, Jr., daughter, Rae Ann Blesi and brothers John and Earl Slothour.
Services will be private. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Hanover.
