Phyllis R. Good, 85, of Hanover, PA, entered peacefully into God's eternal care Wednesday, July 4, 2018 at the Brethren Home Community, Hanover, PA.
Born January 13, 1933 in Johnstown, PA, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Lucille (Turney) Brown. Phyllis was the loving wife of the late Clair R. “Brush” Good who passed away in 1977.
Phyllis was a 1950 graduate of Eichelberger High School, Hanover, PA.
Mrs. Good was the secretary to the Superintendent at the Hanover Public School District until her retirement in 1993.
Phyllis was a devoted grandmother and loved spending time with her family.
Phyllis is survived by her children, Kathy L. Kessler and husband Jim of East Berlin, Susan A. Good, Andrea E. Laughlin and husband Jim and James A. Good and wife Joko, all of Hanover, PA; eleven grandchildren, Matthew Kessler Vaughn, Jennifer Smith, Samantha Good, Katie Abendschein, Kristy Doutrich, JC Laughlin, Jaimy Turner, Emily Good, Lesley Good, Jesse Good, and Max Good; five great-grandchildren, Lane, Chloe, Cameron, Weston, and Reagan; and one sister, Carol Herbert of Naples, FL. She was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas Brown; and three sisters, Arlene Adams, Janice Wherley and Louise Kaehler.
A service to celebrate and remember Phyllis's life will be private and at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Hanover, PA.
