Clair R. “Bud” Biddle, 89 of Hanover passed peacefully on Sunday, July 3, 2011 at Hanover Hall. He was the loving husband of Grace V. (Zumbrum) Biddle, Hanover to whom he was married to for 57 years.
He was born July18, 1921 in Hanover, the son of the late Aaron M. and Anna R. (Dick) Biddle.
Mr. Biddle served with the U.S. Army during WWII and was employed with National Can, Hanover for 15 years, retiring in 1985. He was a member of St. Matthew Church, Hanover and the McSherrystown Home Association. He was also a life member of the Littlestown VFW and the Hanover American Legion Post 14.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a brother, Edward F. Biddle, Hanover and a sister, Betty Klinedinst, Hanover.
He was preceded in death by his three siblings, Richard Biddle; John Biddle and Evelyn Feltch.
