Brenda L. Shaeffer, 73, of Hanover passed away Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at her home. She was the loving wife of Samuel D. Shaeffer, Hanover. Together they shared 55 years of marriage.
She was born March 14, 1941 in Hanover, the daughter of the late Earl and Jeane (Willett) Stonesifer.
Brenda was a Teacher’s Assistant with L.I.U. and a member of Trinity U.C.C., Hanover. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her sons, Bryon Shaeffer and wife Anna and Jeffrey Shaeffer and wife Jessica all of Hanover and three grandchildren, Tara, Sydney and Trystan Shaeffer.
Funeral services will be held Friday, October 17, 2014 at 11 AM at the Wetzel Funeral Home and Crematory, 549 Carlisle Street, Hanover with Rev. Peg Grzelkowski officiating. A time to share memories with the family and an opportunity to view will be on Friday from 10 AM until the start of the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Hanover.
