Services: Services will be held at Panebaker Funeral Home, 311 Broadway, Hanover on Wednesday at 2:00 p.m.
Visitation: Viewing will be held at the funeral home from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Wednesday.
Thomas W. Parr, 60, of McSherrystown, PA, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 9, 2007 at Harrisburg Hospital. He was born June 20, 1947, in Hanover, PA, the son of the late Woodrow W. and Mary E. (Hershey) Parr. Tom is survived by his sister Sandra and husband, Kenneth Hess, a niece, Cheryl and husband Aaron Krause, grandnephew, Seth Krause, and grandniece, Elsie Krause, all of mechanicsburg, several cousins and many friends. He was a 1965 graduate of Eichelberger High School, Hanover and a U.S. Army veteran of the Viet Nam war. Tom was an avid reader and enjoyed music, bingo, billiards, swimming and bowling. Services will be held at Panebaker Funeral Home, 311 Broadway, Hanover on Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. with a viewing preceding the service from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Carlton Stambaugh will officiate. Burial will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery with military honors by the Allied Veterans Honor Guard. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 2997 Cape Horn Rd., #B-2, Cape Horn Plaza, Red Lion, PA 17356.
