Anna M. Mummert, 98, of Hanover, PA, entered into God's eternal care, Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at Homewood at Plum Creek Nursing Center, Hanover, PA.
Born June 25, 1914 in Littlestown, PA, she was the daughter of the late Norman and Laura (Long) Warner. Anna was the loving wife of the late Roy A. Mummert who died August 2, 2001.
Anna was a member of St. Paul's (Dubs) United Church of Christ, Hanover, PA.
Anna worked for many years at the Middleburg Sewing Factory.
Anna enjoyed bowling and quilting and spending time with her family.
Anna is survived by three grandchildren, Craig A. Mummert of Galloway, OH, Kelly A. Shelley of Holtwood, PA, and Michael A. Mummert of Hanover, PA; nine great grandchildren and a brother, Benjamin Warner of Hanover, PA. She was preceded in death by her son, Dennis R. Mummert and five siblings.
Funeral services to celebrate and remember Anna's life will be held 2:00 PM, Monday, December 3, 2012 at the Kenworthy Funeral Home, Inc., 269 Frederick Street, Hanover, PA, with the Rev. Larry M. Estepp officiating. A visitation and time to share memories will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 PM, Monday, December 3, 2012 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Hanover, PA.
