Burnell F. Blouse, 73 of Hanover, entered into God’s eternal care, Tuesday, September 30, 2008 at Hanover Hospital. He was the husband, for 52 years, of Rosalie M. (Noel) Blouse.
Born November 19, 1934 Burnell was a son of the late William and Esther (Stair) Blouse.
He was employed with Schotts Furniture Company, Hanover for more than twenty years, retiring in 1990. Burnell enjoyed collecting Hess trucks , taking trips where he could take train rides and spending time with his family and grandchildren.
Surviving in addition to his wife, is a daughter, Lisa Ann Allison of Hanover; three grandchildren, Brendon, Ama, and Gillian Allison of Hanover; and a nephew, Jeffery Blouse of York.
Burnell was preceded in death by a brother, Dean Stair and a sister, Darylann Miller.
A service to celebrate the life of Burnell will be held 10:00 AM, Saturday, October 4, 2008 at Wetzel Funeral Home, 549 Carlisle St., Hanover with Rev. Fred Mummert officiating. A time to share memories with the family and an opportunity to view will be 6:00-8:00 PM Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Hanover.
