Kathryn V. Bollinger, 98, of Hanover entered into God's eternal care 6:39 A.M. Thursday morning, May 3, 2007 at The Brethren Home Community, New Oxford. She was the wife of the late Robert S. Bollinger who died July 7, 1977. Born in Gettysburg on April 3, 1909, she was the daughter of the late George D. and Della Appler Little. Following graduation from Gettysburg High School, Kathryn attended Shippensburg Univertsity where she earned a degree in elementary education. She then accepted a position as a Teacher for the South Western School district and taught Elementary Education for 37 years until retiring in the early 1970's. Mrs. Bollinger was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church and for 20 years wintered in Punta Gorda, FL where she was also an active member of the Cleveland United Methodist Church. Other membships included the Pleasant Hill Fire Co. Auxiliary. She is survived by two sons Wayne Bollinger of Hanover, David and wife Karen Bollinger of Hanover, 3 grandchildren Michelle and husband Jamie Cramer, Sean Bollinger, Jessica Bollinger, and a great granddaughter Summer Bollinger. Mrs. Bollinger was preceded in death by 3 brothers Glenn R., A. Ray, and Chester O. Little also a sister Grace M. Little.
