Victoria E. Eichelberger, 88, of Hanover, PA, entered into God's eternal care Thursday, June 3, 2010 at the Hanover Hall Nursing Center.
Born September 27, 1921 in Mahanoy City, PA, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Ellen (Brennan) Bethas. Victoria was the loving wife of the late Robert C. Eichelberger who died May 18, 1996.
Victoria was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Hanover, PA, and the Hanover Elks Ladies Auxiliary. She retired from the Hanover Glove Factory after 40 years of service.
Victoria enjoyed knitting, making Afghans, quilting, gardening, collecting baskets, and going to yard sales.
Victoria is survived by one brother, James Bethas of Ocean City, NJ, and two sisters, Ellen Zartman and Dorothy Noel both of Hanover, PA. She was preceded in death by one son James R. Eichelberger, one brother William P. Bethas, and three sisters, Anastasia Klunk, Barbara McMonigle, and Arlene H. Zartman.
A funeral service to celebrate and remember Victoria's life will be held 2 PM, Wednesday, June 9, 2010 at the Kenworthy Funeral Home, Inc., 269 Frederick Street, Hanover, PA, with her pastor the Rev. Christina Minnich officiating. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Hanover, PA
