Margaret L. Bixler, 90, of Hanover, PA, entered into God's eternal care, Friday, October 2, 2015 at the Hanover Hall Nursing Center.
Born May 9, 1925 in Hanover, PA, she was the daughter of the late William and Cecelia (Uttermahlar) Cole. Margaret was the loving wife of the late Marlyn K. Bixler.
Mrs. Bixler was a member of Bethel Assembly of God, Littlestown, PA. She worked as a cook and deli counter attendant at Barnhart's Market and later the Handy Market for over 50 years.
Mrs. Bixler enjoyed crocheting, playing bingo and especially cooking for her family and friends.
Margaret is survived by one daughter, Linda E. Bixler of Hanover, PA, two grandchildren, Michele L. Kale and husband William, Douglas C. Rickrode, one great grandson, Andrew S. Kale, and one brother, Carl Cole of Taneytown, MD. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Oren Cole and George Cole and one sister, Janet McDaniel.
