Born on Saturday, March 15, 1919 in Hanover, she was the daughter of the late Edwin Ward Kline and Arlene Mae Dysart Kline. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Charles B. Donsen, who died in 1993. A member of the Eichelberger High School Class of 1936, Marlene was a salesperson at various women's clothing stores in Hanover. She was a lifelong member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church and was a Past President of the local chapter of the AARP, Harold H. Bair American Legion Post #14 and the Penn Township Lioness Club. She enjoyed reading and listening to her records, especially Big Band music. Marlene loved being around her children and great-grandchildren, especially when they were babies.
Survivors include a son, C. Edwin Donsen and his wife, Lois; three daughters, Judith Kline Leppo and her husband, Clyde, all of Hanover, Deborah Jane Noel and her husband, Allen, of Spring Grove, and Dianne Louise Dusman and her husband, Paul, of Hanover; six grandchildren, Edwin and Jeffrey Donsen, Wendy Cover, Lori Davis, Steven Wolfe and David Dusman; eleven great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
