Fred D. Geiselman
Fred D. Geiselman, 88, of Hanover, joined his wife in Heaven Tuesday, April 29, 2008 at the Hanover Hospital. He was the husband of the late Marian V. (Goodling) Geiselman, who died May 29, 2007.
Born December 2, 1919 in Hanover, he was the son of the late George Daniel and Clara H. (Bollinger) Geiselman.
Mr. Geiselman was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Hanover. He was a graduate of Eichelberger High School, Hanover. Mr. Geiselman was a farmer his whole life at his homestead in Hanover.
Surviving are one son and three daughters, Rebecca A. Meehan, of Carlisle, Daniel A. Geiselman, of Hanover, Jane V. Army, of Anchorage, AL, and Gail P. Lenhart, of Mechanicsburg, PA; three sisters, Betty J. Reichart and Charlotte L. Hartman, both of Hanover, Harriet J. Hoffman, of Gardners; seven grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and one step-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by a grandson, Sean Bollinger.
The funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 5, 2008 at the Wetzel Funeral Home, 549 Carlisle Street, Hanover, with Rev. Richard Herr officiating. Viewing will be 2:00 – 4:00 and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Hanover.
