Leonell E. Stover, 86, of Hanover, PA, entered into God's eternal care, Thursday, November 28, 2013 at the Hanover Hall Nursing Center, Hanover, PA.
Born November 9, 1927 in Hanover, PA, she was the daughter of the late James M. and Luella E. (Wentz) Fuhrman.
Leonell was a member of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church, Hanover, PA.
Leonell was a factory worker prior to opening her own daycare center for preschoolers in 1965. Upon her retirement, she passed the business along to her daughter, Debra.
Leonell is survived by her daughter, Debra L. Zumbrum of Hanover, PA and one granddaughter, Amber L. Shaffer and husband Chris of Chambersburg, PA, and one great grandson; Jacob Shaffer.
A funeral service to celebrate and remember Leonell will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, December 3, 2013 at Kenworthy Funeral Home, Inc., 269 Frederick Street, Hanover, PA with the Rev. Dr. Daniel M. Yeiser officiating. A viewing and time to share memories with the family will be held from 6-8 PM, Monday, December 2, 2013 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Hanover, PA.
