Grace M. Noble Maus, 92, (who would have been 93 on September 10, 2009), of Hanover, PA, entered into God's eternal care, Sunday August 30, 2009 at the Lutheran Retirement Village at Utz Terrace.
Born September 10, 1916 in Hanover, PA, she was the daughter of the late Ralph E. and Beulah (Rohrbaugh) Becker. Grace was the loving wife of the late Ira F. Noble who died January 16, 1968 and the late Homer G. Maus who died February 16, 1996.
Grace was a member of Grace Wesleyan Church and retired from Doubleday, Inc. after many years of service. She was very active in the church and served on various Women's Guilds and Sunday school Activities within the church.
Grace enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and also liked sewing, making crafts and especially gardening.
Grace is survived by five children, William F. Noble, Ernest L. Noble, Darryl A. Noble, Dorcas M. Maus and Julia L. Wildasin all of Hanover, PA, four step children, Riley R. Maus of Hanover, PA, Richard J. Maus of Hanover, PA, Timothy A. Maus of Dillsburg, PA, and Patricia A. Bender of Lancaster, PA, 15 Grandchildren, 7 Step Grandchildren, 23 Great Grandchildren, 6 Step Great Grandchildren, 2 Great Great Grandchildren, and one sister, Esther A. Markle of Spring Grove, PA. She was preceded in death by two sons, Clyde M. Stover and Larry P. Stover, and three brothers, Earl Becker, Stuart Becker, and Paul Becker.
A service to celebrate and remember Grace's life will be held 11 AM, Wednesday, September 2, 2009 at the Kenworthy Funeral Home, Inc. 269 Frederick Street, Hanover, PA, with the Rev. Ethan Levengood officiating. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Hanover, PA. A viewing and time to share memories with the family will be held from 10 - 11 AM, Wednesday, September 2, 2009 at the funeral home.
Serving as casketbearers will be Randy L. Wildasin, Michael A. Hartman, Kevin R. Rickrode, Scott A. Groft, W. Eugene Sterner, and Rachael A. Noble.
