Kenneth R. Witter, 80, of Hanover, PA, entered God’s eternal care, Sunday, November 20, 2022, at home with his loving family by his side.
Born October 5, 1942, in Hanover, PA, he was the son of the late Samuel F. J., Jr. and Edna E. (Bly) Witter. Kenneth was the loving husband of the late Irene L. (Grove) Witter with whom he shared forty-eight years of marriage until her passing on October 4, 2019.
Kenneth in 2010 after many years of service as a foreman for PWI.
Kenneth enjoyed hunting and fishing and spending time with his children, grandchildren, and his two great granddaughters which adored him. He would get an amazing smile on his face when they would visit.
Kenneth is survived by his daughters, Trudy Witter and companion Jared Gipe, and Judy Carpenter and husband Wesley Carpenter; eight grandchildren, Lois Keller, Nicole Meckley, Lydia Reitano, Emily Carpenter, Tiffany Kress, Adam Jacoby, Tabitha Unger, and Kylie Meckley; two great granddaughters, Riah Keller and Raelyn Keller; one sister, Brenda Belcher; and one brother, William Witter, and wife Donna.
A funeral service to celebrate and remember Kenneth will be held 11:00AM, Wednesday, November 30, 2022, at the Kenworthy Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 269 Frederick Street, Hanover, PA. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Hanover, PA. A viewing and time to share memories with the family will be held from 10:00-11:00AM, Wednesday, November 30, 2022, at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Kenneth’s name to the Hospice Program of the VNA of Hanover & Spring Grove, 440 N. Madison Street, Hanover, PA 17331.
