Obituary
Born on Monday, April 9, 1928 in Hanover, she was a daughter of the late Amos H. and Beulah Sell Feeser. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ellsworth L. Lewis; four brothers, Gerald, Donald, Robert and Kenneth Feeser; and a sister, Pearl Leese. A 1946 graduate of Eichelberger High School, Doris attended Washington Adventist University, and later became a member of the Sligo Seventh-day Adventist Church in Takoma Park.
Survivors include two daughters, Carol Baber and her husband, Edward, of Frederick, MD and Louise Lewis of Takoma Park; a granddaughter, Kimberly Long of Myrtle Beach, SC; four great-grandchildren, Roman Caruso of Loris, SC, Serina Caruso of Virginia Beach, VA, Jared Caruso of Denver, NC and Isabella Caruso of Myrtle Beach; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will receive friends at a viewing to be held from 11 AM to 12 Noon on Monday, August 2, 2021 at Panebaker Funeral Home & Cremation Care Center, Inc., 311 Broadway, Hanover. A graveside service will be held at 12:30 PM on Monday at Mount Olivet Cemetery, 725 Baltimore Street, Hanover with Pastor Lynnwood Spangler.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Sligo Seventh-day Adventist Church, 7700 Carroll Avenue, Takoma Park, MD 20912.
