Harry M. Brown, 86 of Hanover, passed away Saturday, November 27, 2010 at Hanover Hall Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Hanover.
Born September 22, 1924 in Hanover, he was the son of the late Chester C. and Mamie Margaret (Masenheimer) Brown.
Mr. Brown was a Life Member of Post #14 American Legion, Hanover. He was a WW II U.S. Army Veteran. Harry was employed as a welder for BMY, York for more than 20 years.
Surviving are a daughter, Judy L. Rife and her husband David of Hanover; a sister, Margaret I. Ohler, Hanover; also a number of nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a brother Edward F. Brown.
There will be no public viewing. Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside military service at 1:30 PM Thursday, December 2, 2010 at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, 725 Baltimore Street, Hanover, PA 17331 with the Hanover Allied Veterans Honor Guard performing military rites.
