Mark David Fortino, 59, of Hanover, PA, entered God’s Eternal Care, Sunday, March 7, 2021 at UPMC Pinnacle Hanover Hospital with his loving family by his side.
Born June 8, 1961, in Harrisburg, PA, he was the loving son of the late David and Sandra (Tomec) Fortino. Mark was the loving husband of Jane K. (Brillhart) Fortino with whom he shared over twenty years of marriage.
Mark was a 1979 graduate of Trinity High School, Camp Hill, PA. He was a veteran and served his country proudly in the United States Navy.
Mark worked as a communication technician for the Local 229 IBEW for over ten years. He was a member of the Green Springs Rod & Gun Club, and the Hanover Moose.
In addition to his loving wife, Jane, Mark is survived by his daughter, Samantha Fortino of Hanover, PA; his granddaughter, Mylie; and two brothers, Michael Fortino of Boca Raton, FL, and Matt Fortino of Arlington, VA.
A viewing and time to share memories with the family will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM, Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at the Kenworthy Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 269 Frederick Street, Hanover, PA. Funeral Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Mark’s memory to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church 1214 Broadway, Hanover, PA 17331.
