Dr. Cynthia L. Brough, DVM, 58, of Carlisle, entered into God’s eternal care Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at Harrisburg Hospital following complications from heart surgery.
Born on Friday, December 31, 1954 in Carlisle, she was a beloved daughter of J. Andrew and Letha W. Brough, and was preceded in death by her sister, Candace L. Brough, who died in 1989. She was a 1972 graduate of Hanover High School and was also a graduate of the School of Veterinary Medicine at Iowa State University.
Dr. Brough was a partner with Dr. Doris Do at the Kindred Spirit Animal Hospital in Carlisle. She was a member of Letort United Methodist Church in Carlisle.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Burial will be held privately at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Hanover.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
