Dwayne A. “Bink” Dubs, 60, of Hanover, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 15, 2021 at UPMC Pinnacle Hanover. He was the loving husband of Daune L. (Boyd) Dubs.
Born November 30, 1960 in Hanover, he was a son of Mervin L. Dubs and his companion Deb Mummert of Hanover and Mary Ann (Fritz) Harman and her husband Bill, also of Hanover.
Dwayne was a District Magistrate in Hanover for 15 years and he loved this town and everything Hanover related. In his free time Dwayne loved to go golfing; he was also an avid Steelers and Penn State fan.
In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Dubs is survived by, three children, Michael Dubs of Hanover, Jason Dubs and his wife Sadie of DePere, WI, Kirsten Bevilaqua and her husband Frank of Wadsworth, OH; four stepchildren, Nicole Selby of Hanover, Shane Selby of Hanover, Brody Honeycut of Monroe, LA, Tara Honeycut of West Chester; two siblings, Desiree Krenzer and her husband Tony of Laurel, MD, David Dubs and his wife Sharon of New Oxford; six grandchildren, Alexis Dubs, Sophia Bevilaqua, Isabella Bevilaqua, Gavin Gilbert, London Gilbert, and Silas Dubs.
There will be no public viewing. Services are private and under the direction of the Wetzel Funeral Home & Crematory.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 42040, Oklahoma City, OK 73123
