Lois V. Rohrbaugh, 71, of New Oxford, PA, entered into God's eternal care, Saturday, July 6, 2013 at the Hanover Hospital, Hanover, PA with her loving family by her side.
Born August 3, 1941 in Hanover, PA, she was the daughter of the late John and Viola (Brown) Baugher. Lois was the loving wife of the late William C. Rohrbaugh who died October 30, 2003.
Lois was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, New Oxford, PA, where she was active in the Prayer Shawl Ministry and a former member of the church council. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and the National A.A.R.P. as well as the local New Oxford Chapter. She was a volunteer with the Meals on Wheels program for many years.
Lois retired from Leister's Furniture Company with over twenty years of service in the office as a secretary.
She enjoyed bowling and especially spending time with her family.
Lois is survived by three children, Michael W. Rohrbaugh and his wife Michaela of Hanover, PA, Debra J. Rohrbaugh of New Oxford, PA, Brenda S. Harlacher and husband Jody of Dover, PA; five grandchildren; one great-grandson, one brother, Terry Baugher and wife Barb of Bellefonte, PA, three sisters, Janet Riley and husband Tyrone Phyllis Baugher and husband Eugene all of New Oxford, PA and Beverly Smith and husband William of East Berlin, PA. She was preceded in death by one brother, John Baugher.
A funeral service to celebrate and remember Lois will be held 11:00 AM, Wednesday, July 10, 2013 at St. John's Lutheran Church, 5450 Carlisle Pike, New Oxford, PA, with her Pastor the Rev. Sharon Kaya officiating. A time to view and share memories with the family will be held from 6-8 PM, Tuesday, July 9, 2012 at the Kenworthy Funeral Home, Inc., 269 Frederick Street, Hanover, PA as well as from 10 to 11 AM, Wednesday, July 10, 2013 at the church. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Hanover, PA.
