Peggy L. Kemper, 75 of Hanover, PA, entered into God's eternal care, Monday, May 23, 2022, at the Hanover Hall Nursing Center.
Born April 17, 1947, in Baltimore, MD, Peggy was the daughter of the late Philip and Opal (Barber) Bridges. She was the loving wife of the late Eugene M. "Geno" Kemper to whom she was married for 30 years until his passing on December 9, 2013.
Peggy was a 1966 graduate of Westminster High School. She retired from Harley Davidson after 18 years of service as a paint inspector.
Peggy was a member of Bethel Assembly of God, Littlestown, PA.
Peggy enjoyed bowling, gardening, going to her church, going to car shows and especially enjoyed her Corvettes over the years. She loved her family dearly and loved spending time with them whenever she could.
Peggy is survived by her children, Melissa A. Plank and husband Jason of Hanover, PA, Teresa Baile and husband Mark of Finksburg, MD, sons, Christopher L. Whited and wife Amy of Hanover, PA, Philip Whited and wife Amy of Parker, CO, six grandchildren, Samantha, Travis, Gage, Gabriel, Landon, and Griffin.
Funeral services will be held at 10 AM, Wednesday, June 1, 2022, at the Kenworthy Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 269 Frederick St., Hanover, PA with her pastor, the Rev. Richard Ritenour officiating. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Hanover, PA. A visitation and time to share memories with the family will be held from 6 PM to 8 PM, Tuesday, May 31, 2022, at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Peggy to Bethel Assembly of God, 2075 Fish and Game Road, Littlestown, PA 17340.
Serving as casket bearers will be Philip Whited, Christopher Whited, Jason Plank, Gage Plank, Landon Plank, Gabriel Whited, and Griffin Whited.
