Eugene M. "Geno" Kemper, 66 of Hanover, PA, entered into God's eternal care, Monday, December 9, 2013 at his residence.
Born January 11, 1947 in Hanover, PA, Geno was the son of the late Merle and Romaine (Barnhart) Kemper. He was the loving husband of Peggy L. (Bridges) Kemper to whom he was married for 30 years.
Geno was a 1965 graduate of South Western High School. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War and served his country proudly in the United States Army.
He was a member of Bethel Assembly of God, Littlestown, PA.
Mr. Kemper retired from Harley Davidson of York, PA after 18 years of service. Prior to this, he was employed by Black and Decker for 23 years.
Geno was also an avid golfer and bowler.
In addition to his loving wife Peggy, Geno is survived by his daughters, Melissa A. Plank and husband Jason of Hanover, PA, Teresa Baile and husband Mark of Finksburg, MD, sons, Christopher L. Whited and wife Amy of Hanover, PA, Philip Whited and wife Amy of Parker, CO, six grandchildren, Samantha, Travis, Gage, Gabriel, Landon, Griffin, his brother, Dave Kemper of Hanover, PA and his sister, Carolyn Miller of New Freedom, PA.
Funeral services will be held at 12 PM, Friday, December 13, 2013 at the Kenworthy Funeral Home, Inc., 269 Frederick St., Hanover, PA with his pastor, the Rev. Garry Sheaffer officiating. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Hanover, PA.
