Services: The funeral will be held at 10:30 am on Saturday, May 23, 2009 at Trinity United Church of Christ with The Rev. Dr. Karin Stork-Whitson officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
Visitation: The viewing will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.
Arthur L. Myers, 76, of New Oxford, entered into God’s eternal care on Thursday, May 21, 2009 at Hanover Hospital.Born in Hanover, PA on June 6, 1932, he was a son of the late Arthur Lee Myers, Sr. and Helen May Luckenbaugh Myers. He was the husband of 55 years to Myrna A. Rohrbaugh Myers, who died in 2006. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Jean Roth.Mr. Myers was self-employed in the floor cleaning business, which he operated with his wife. He was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ and sang with the Hanover Community Singers. Creative in spirit, he enjoyed expressing himself through singing and painting.He is survived by his two sons, Gordon Myers and his wife, Cherie of Lebanon and Gregory Myers of Carlisle; two granddaughters, Alisha Riser and Meredith Engebretson and a sister, Lela Manger of Hanover.
