Rosalie K. Breighner, 92, of Hanover, PA, entered into God's eternal care, Friday, January 2, 2015 at the Hanover Hospital.
Born December 11, 1922 in McSherrystown, PA, she was the daughter of the late John W. and Sallie (Sneeringer) Klunk. Rosalie was the loving wife of Felix E. "Dick" Breighner with whom she shared 67 years of marriage until his passing on October 3, 2014.
Rosalie was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Hanover, PA. She was a graduate of St. Joseph Academy in McSherrystown, PA
Mrs. Breighner retired from Snyder's, Inc. after 15 years of service as a food processer and also in sales. She enjoyed playing cards, dancing with her husband, and spending time with her family.
Rosalie is survived by four children: Anthony Breighner of Hanover, PA, Michael Breighner of New Oxford, PA, Scott Breighner of Hanover, PA, Mary Ann Smith of York, PA, 7 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and one sister, Stella Smith of Hanover, PA. She was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 AM, Thursday, January 8, 2015 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 5125 Grandview Road, Hanover, PA, with Father Stephen Kelley as celebrant. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Hanover, PA.
