Susan J. “Sue” (Chronister) Klunk, 73, died, Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at her home. She was the wife of Phillip R. Klunk, her husband of 22 years.
Sue was born September 15, 1945 in Hanover, the daughter of the late Howard N. and Naomi E. (Hinkle) Chronister.
Sue was a member of Zwingli U.C.C. in East Berlin, where she was the President of the MITE society, a member of the choir, and taught Sunday school. She was also a member of the East Berlin V.F.W. Richard J. Gross Post #8896 Ladies Auxiliary, where she was a past president, and the Patriotic Instruction of the V.F.W.
In addition to her husband Phil, Sue is survived by a son, Brian M. Frock and his wife Sheila of Arendtsville, two daughters, Sherri L. Frock of Shermansdale and Julie A. Cromer and her husband Alvin of Aspers, a stepson, Michael A. Klunk and his wife Patti of San Diego, CA, a stepdaughter, Kristen R. Maggipinto and her husband David of Wind Gap, eight grandchildren, Cameron E. Flook, Brigit L. Rohrbaugh, Mariah A. Flook, Alisha B. Cromer, Brady M. Frock, Ashli J. Cromer, Sierra N. Frock and Jessica A. Cromer, two great grandchildren, Lilly M. and Grayson B., two sisters, Kathryn I. Kline and her husband Donald of WV, and Jannie-Lee Mentzer and her husband Ralph of York, and a brother, Jerry L. Chronister of Gardners. She was predeceased by a grandson, Brennan C. Flook, a sister, Joy Kramer, and a brother, H. Eugene Chronister.
