Obituary
Arthur E. Anderson, age 86, passed away at home on December 24, 2020. He was the loving husband of Oneida B. (Becker) Anderson.
Arthur was born on April 20, 1934 in Yocumtown and was the son of the late Marlin and Anna (Myers) Anderson. He was a member of Shiloh God’s Missionary Church. Arthur loved flowers and was a master gardener. He enjoyed bird watching and feeding and was also woodworker. Arthur always made sure that his family was well taken care of.
In addition to his wife Oneida, Arthur is survived by his son John A. Anderson and wife Patricia; his daughter Julia A. Rohrer; his grandchildren Jesse, Nikki, Alyssa, Christopher, and McKendra; his step grandchildren Dwight and Holly; and his great grandchildren Kade, Kaelyn, Kyler, Alexander, and Jonathan. He is also survived by his brothers Richard and Vance; his sister Audrey; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brothers Ronald and Robert; and his sisters Madeline, Arlene, and Dorothy.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday at 10:00AM at Shiloh God’s Missionary Church, 2300 Sunset Lane York PA 17408. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. A viewing will be held on Thursday from 9:00-10:00AM at the church.
