Raymond F. Musselman, 89, of Hanover, PA, entered into God's eternal care, Friday, March 22, 2013 at the Hanover Hall Nursing Center.
Born July 31, 1923 in Hanover, PA, he was the son of the late Frank and Goldie (Leese) Musselman. Raymond was the loving husband of the late Velma E. (Amspacher) Musselman who died June 24, 2000.
Raymond was a member of Hanover Church of the Brethren, and the Disabled American Veterans Association.
Raymond was a veteran of the United States Army having served his Country proudly in World War II with the 88th Infantry. He was awarded the Purple Heart, European African Middle Eastern Theater Service Ribbon, World War II Victory Ribbon, and the Good Conduct Medal.
Raymond retired from Hanover Wire Cloth with over 30 years of service. He enjoyed woodworking, making things and making his own notepads.
Raymond is survived by one daughter, Bonnie Menchey and Husband Michael of Hanover, PA, three grandchildren, Fred Morela, Jr. and wife Dana of Hanover, PA, Mark Morela of Hanover, PA and Michael Menchey and wife Angie of Hanover, PA, 5 great grandchildren, Hunter, Isaiah, Noah, Ethan, and Trevor, and one brother, Donald Musselman of Hanover, PA. He was preceded in death by two brothers, john Musselman and Robert Musselman, and three sisters, Nancy Caler, Edna Musselman, and Dorothy Reigle.
A funeral service to celebrate and remember Raymond's life will be held at 11 AM, Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at the Kenworthy Funeral Home, Inc., 269 Frederick Street, Hanover, PA, with his Pastor the Rev. Geraldine Godfrey officiating. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Hanover, PA, with the Hanover Allied Veterans Honor Guard affording Military Honors. A viewing will be held from 9 - 11 AM, Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at the funeral home.
