Obituary
Jasmine was severely impaired at birth and struggled to survive every day of her 19 years. She had a commanding presence and taught others many life lessons; most importantly patience, respect for each other and the importance of taking care of those who need it. She has been and always will be an angel. Jasmine’s loving nurse, Leslie Grote, was at her side for most of her life and to the end, always trying to make her struggles easier.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her two sisters, Bobbi J. MIllheim and Brooke S. Myers; maternal grandparents, Judy A. and Earl E. Myers; paternal grandmother, Velma L. Millheim and an extended family including her aunts and uncles, Lonnie E. and Melinda A. Millheim, Karen L. Millheim, Karen L. Sipe, Kim J. Topper, Greg A. Myers and Kelly E. Myers and several cousins, all of the Hanover area. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Robert B. Millheim, Sr. “Pop Pop”.
The funeral will be held at 10:30 am Saturday, June 9, 2012 at Panebaker Funeral Home, Inc., 311 Broadway, Hanover with The Rev. Peg Grzelkowski officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive friends at a viewing from 6 to 8 pm Friday evening at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions in Jasmine’s name may be made to the United Cerebral Palsy of South Central PA, 788 Cherry Tree Court, Hanover, PA 17331 or to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Greater PA, 2951 Whiteford Road, Suite 304, York, PA 17402.
