Obituary
Born on Sunday, September 24, 1950 in Hanover, he was a son of the late Charles E. and Romaine Rohrbaugh Wolfe. He was also preceded in death by a son, Chad C. Wolfe; and a brother Donald C. Wolfe. Gary was a 1968 graduate of South Western High School and proudly served his country in the US army at the Pentagon for several years. He was employed at the former Hanover Wire Cloth for more than 20 years and later worked for Pennex Aluminum Company in Wellsville. Gary also coached soccer in the Hanover for several seasons.
In addition to his wife of 48 years, he is survived by a son Brent Wolfe and his wife, Amanda; a granddaughter, Marin Christina Wolfe; a sister, Joanne Hershey; and several nieces and nephews.
A private service will be held with burial in Mount Olivet Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1004 N. Juniata Street, Hollidaysburg, PA 16648 or to the American Diabetes Association, PO Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312.
