Nancy Jane Toot, 81, of East Berlin, PA, entered God’s Eternal Care Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at her daughter’s home in Hanover, PA with her loving family by her side. 

Born April 18, 1936 in Hanover, PA she was the daughter of the late Robert P. and Hilda R. (Baughman) Myers. 

Nancy was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, Hanover, PA.  She was also a member of the McSherrystown Moose Lodge #720.

Nancy retired in 1990 from the Freeman Shoe Company, with over twenty years of service.

Nancy is survived by her children, Linda J. Wolfe and Husband Gary of Hanover, PA and Jeffery L. Toot and wife Mary Ann of East Berlin, PA; three grandchildren, Brent Wolfe, Julie Toot, and Brian Toot; two great grandchildren, Callie Kay Toot and Marin C. Wolfe; and a brother, Robert “Reds” P. Myers of Hanover, PA.  She was preceded in death by two children, Carmen K. Toot and Gregory A. Toot; one grandson, Chad Wolfe; three brothers, Donald Myers, Larry Myers, and William Myers; and one sister, Dolly Myers.   

A funeral service to celebrate and remember Nancy’s life will be held 12:00 PM, Saturday, November 4, 2017 at the Kenworthy Funeral Home, Inc., 269 Frederick Street, Hanover, PA with the Rev. Stephen Salisbury officiating.  Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Hanover, PA.  A viewing and time to share memories with the family will be held from 11:00 AM -12:00 PM, Saturday, November 4, 2017 at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Nancy’s memory to Grace United Methodist Church, 55 Albright Drive, Hanover, PA 17331 or the Visiting Nurse Association of Hanover And Spring Grove, 440 N. Madison Street, Hanover, PA 17331.
