Born on Tuesday, January 15, 1952 in Hanover, she was a daughter of the late Paul M. Mondorff, Jr. and Beulah M. Trone Mondorff. Janet was an elementary school teacher in the Littlestown School District for more than 30 years and was an active member of St. Mark Lutheran Church. Gifted with her hands, she enjoyed making cross-stitch Christmas ornaments, and playing the piano and organ. She also loved to be outdoors and working in her garden. She will be remembered as a loving and caring person who would always give selflessly to her family and friends.
Survivors include one brother, Richard G. Mondorff and his wife, Rebecca; a niece, Carrie E. Mondorff; a nephew, Chad E. Mondorff and his wife, Jenn; a great-nephew, Bryce Mondorff; and a great-niece, Allison Mondorff.
Per her wishes, a private service is planned.
