Brenna Leigh Grove, 67, of Gettysburg, entered into God’s eternal care on Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at Gettysburg Hospital.
Born on Tuesday, April 3, 1951 in Hanover, she was the daughter of the late Mary L. Karlus Brown and step-daughter of the late Joseph E. Brown. A 1969 graduate of Hanover High School, she was a former employee of Homewood both on York Street and at Plum Creek. She loved talking and meeting new people. Her co-workers would say that she had such a big heart. She was a sweetheart and always so cheerful.
Brenna is survived by her aunt, Julie C. Karlus of Hanover. In addition to her mother and step-father, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Peter R. Karlus, Sr. and Grace P. Stair Karlus; and two uncles, Peter R. Karlus, Jr. and John R. Karlus.
Following cremation, a graveside service will be held at 10 AM on October 16, 2018 at Mount Olivet Cemetery, 725 Baltimore Street, Hanover.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Emmanuel United Church of Christ, 124 Broadway, Hanover, PA 17331.
