Services: His funeral service will be held 11:00 A.M. Thursday morning at Panebaker Funeral Home, 311 Broadway, Hanover.
Visitation: Viewing will Thursday morning from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
Richard C. Hershey, 92, formerly of Hanover entered into God's eternal care 5:20 A.M. Sunday morning, June 15, 2008 at The Brethren Home Community, New Oxford. He was the husband of Lettie M. Wolfgang Hershey. Born in Hanover on May 3, 1916, he was the son of the late Oscar R. and Annie M. Rohrbaugh Hershey. Mr. Hershey had been employed as a Grounds Keeper at Mount Olivet Cemetery for many years until his retirement. He was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ. In addition to his wife, he is survived a daughter Donna L. Hoke and her husband James N. of Hanover, 3 grandchildren Christopher, Scott, Ryan and 3 Great Grandchildren Brandon, Christopher, Jr. and Alexander. Mr. Hershey was preceded in death by a sister Ella Romaine Leathery.
