Corinne E. Markle, 96, of Hanover, PA, went home to be with the Lord Thursday, September 20, 2012 at the Hanover Hall Nursing Center.
Born November 14, 1915, in Hanover, PA, she was the daughter of the late Curby and Elsie (Masemore) Bixler. Corinne was the loving wife of the late Burnell C. Markle who died December 8, 1997.
Corinne was a lifetime member of St. David Evangelical Lutheran Church, Hanover, PA. She retired from Sylvia Garments of Littlestown, PA.
Corinne is survived by her nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister, Margaret G. Chronister and her brother, Lester Bixler.
A time to share memories with the family and view will be held from 2-3 PM, Sunday, September 23, 2012 at the Kenworthy Funeral Home, Inc., 269 Frederick St., Hanover, PA. A service to celebrate and remember Corinne's life will be held at 3 PM, Sunday, September 23, 2012 at the funeral home with Rev. Ladonna Thomas officiating. Burial will be at 11 AM, Monday, September 24, 2012 in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Hanover, PA.
