Joyce R. (Runk), Lehman, 82, of Messiah Village, Mechanicsburg, who was formerly of Ronks, Lancaster County and Shrewsbury, died Friday May 31, 2013 at the home. She was the wife of the late Charles H. Lehman. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at the Messiah Village Chapel, 100 Mt. Allen Drive, Mechanicsburg, with Pastors Earl K. Ziegler and Terry Rose officiating. A viewing will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 AM Tuesday at the Chapel at Messiah Village. Interment will be held at 2:30 PM Tuesday at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, 725 Baltimore Street, Hanover. Mrs. Lehman was born on May 8, 1931 in Manheim Township York County, a daughter of the late John H. and Lettie E. (Bucher) Runk. She had owned and operated with her husband, the former Lehman's Flower Shop in Shrewsbury from 1956 until 1978. Joyce was a member of Lampeter Church of the Brethren and was a former member of the Black Rock Church of the Brethren, Glenville, where she taught Sunday School and was a Youth Adviser for many years. She is survived by two daughters, Diane J. Heinly and her husband Allen of Mount Joy and Dana J. Britton and her husband Rev, Thomas of Mechanicsburg; four grandchildren, Jonathan, Julie, Andrea and Lindsay; and a sister, Florence Grimm of Farmington, Maine. Memorial contributions may be made to the Messiah Village Benevolent Fund, 100 Mount Allen Drive, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055.
