Obituary
Born on Monday, May 23, 1921 in Hanover, she was a daughter of the late Raymond and Ruth Naugle Wildasin. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Edwin C. Anthony, Jr., who died in 1998; an infant son, Patrick Anthony; and a sister, Charlotte Staub.
Mrs. Anthony retired in 1982 from Hanover Shoe and was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church, and the Ladies Auxiliaries of the Harold H. Bair American Legion Post #14 and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #2506.
Survivors include her daughter, Ethel L. Anthony of Hanover; two brothers, Robert and Donald Wildasin, both of Hanover; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 11 am Thursday, August 14, 2014 at Panebaker Funeral Home, Inc., 311 Broadway, Hanover with The Rev. Dr. Daniel M. Yeiser officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Olivet Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 30 W. Chestnut Street, Hanover, PA 17331.
