Ralph E. Mahaley

August 3, 1929 - October 3, 2017

Ralph E. Mahaley, 88, of Hanover and formerly of York, passed peacefully on Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at Columbia Cottage, Hanover. He was the loving husband of Shirley M. (Leppo) Mahaley who died June 22, 2017. Together they shared over 64 years of marriage.

He was born August 3, 1929 in York, the son of the late Harry Frederick and Hilda Mae (Heusner) Mahaley.

Mr. Mahaley attended Spring Grove High School and owned and operated Mahaley TV service, York for 48 years. He was a member of Shiloh United Church of Christ, York. Ralph loved Penn State Football and sailing.

Ralph was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He is survived by his loving daughter, Vickie M. Geiger and her husband Joseph of Hanover; he was so proud of his grandson Jason Geiger and his wife Lauren of Boulder, CO and his granddaughter, Laura Geiger and her husband Zeke Farwell of Colchester, VT and is also survived by his sister-in-law, Dorothy Mahaley, California and his nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his brother Fred Mahaley.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family with final committal taking place in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Hanover.
