Joseph L. Fulco, Sr., 93 went to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 5, 2014, at Hershey Medical Center. He was the loving husband of Anna May (Eichelberger) Fulco for 72 years.
Born September 15, 1920, he was the son of the late Samuel and Anna H. Fulco. He graduated from Eichelberger High School in the Class of 1939.
He was an executive at Bon Ton Stores based in York for thirty years. At his retirement in 1981 he was Vice President of store planning. He built and fixture many of the stores.
He was an avid horseman and was the owner of many Tennessee Walking Horses.
After retirement he and his wife spent their winters in Ft. Lauderdale and Daytona Beach, Florida.
He was a longtime member of Calvary Bible Church, 603 Wilson Avenue, Hanover, PA.
He is survived by a daughter, Joan L. Sabaka, Olney, MD, a son, J. Louis Fulco, Jr. and his wife Cande, in Hanover, PA. In addition he is survived by three grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Samuel H. Fulco and his wife, Gloria and a grandson, Tony Sabaka.
The memorial service will be held on Friday, January 10, 2014, at 1PM at Calvary Bible Church, 603 Wilson Avenue, Hanover, PA. Friends may meet the family beginning at 12 Noon at the church. The burial service will be private and at the convenience of the family.
