LeeAnn Strine, 67 of York, entered into rest on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at York Hospital. LeeAnn was born in York, PA on May 6, 1949 to Anna Marie (Luckenbaugh) Strine and the late Dale L. Strine, Sr.
During LeeAnn years of employment, she worked for Johnson Controls for over 30 years, she was a school bus driver for Durham Services for 5 years and recently she became a Licensed Pastor. LeeAnn enjoyed reading, knitting and movies; but most of all she enjoyed her family.
Some of LeeAnn’s memberships include Penn Central Conference United Church of Christ; member of NAACP former President, Secretary and Historian; ACLU of PA; delegate of PCC-UCCL; former member of Golden Vision Foundation; Stephen Ministry; Community Outreach Committee and Co-founder of International Friendship Foundation.
LeeAnn is survived by her mother Anna Marie Strine; daughters Renee Strine wife Tracy Blickenstaff and Danielle Strine; extended sons James Eric, Steve Eric and John Eric; a brother Dale “Loren” Strine, Jr.; three grandchildren Anthony Weedon fiancée Angela Hall, Michael West and Nadia West; two great grandchildren Elijah Weedon and Nevaeh Porter and a host of other family members and friends.
