Dale R. Sprenkle, Jr., 72 of York, passed away peacefully on November 29, 2017 at York Hospital. He was the loving husband of Josephine (Arnold) Sprenkle; together they shared 39 years of marriage.
Born Thursday, September 27, 1945 in York, he was the son of the late Dale R., Sr. and Beatrice B. (Rader) Sprenkle.
Dale was a loving husband and father; he loved his family and cherished the time they spent together. Dale enjoyed going to the beach, fishing, and watching baseball; his favorite team was the Baltimore Orioles.
In addition to his wife, Dale is survived by four children, Richard H. Baker, III of Dover, William E. Baker of York, Penny E. Myers and her husband Roger of York, Chad A. Wunch and his wife Melissa of York; 12 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; many loving extended family members and friends.
Following cremation a graveside service to celebrate the life of Dale will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, December 4, 2017 at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, 725 Baltimore St, Hanover, PA 17331 with Pastor Judy Snyder officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Josephine Sprenkle, 940 S. Russell St., York PA 17402 to help family with final expenses at this mournful time.
