Beatrice B. Sprenkle, 89 of York formerly of Hanover, passed away Wednesday, April 25, 2012 at Pleasant Acres Nursing Home., York, PA. She was the wife of the late Dale R. Sprenkle, Sr. who died in 1982.
Born February 12, 1923 in Hanover, PA, she was the daughter of the late William L.P. and Pauline Lottie (Pentz) Rader.
Beatrice was employed as a government inspector for weapons manufacturing with Bendix in York.
Surviving is a son: Dale R. Sprenkle, Jr. and his wife Josephine, York; 4 grandchildren; Richard Baker, III, William Baker, Penny Hake and Chad Wunch; 13 great grandchildren and 13 great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death 2 sisters and two brothers: Pauline Rader, William Rader, George Rader and Betty Bish.
There will be no public viewing. Family and friends are invited to a graveside service at 11:00 AM Saturday, April 28, 2012 at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, 725 Baltimore Street, Hanover, PA 17331 with Rev. David DeLong officiating.
